Milk Thistle Farm

With the original house built in 1785, the property is on the historical register and consists of the main house and 5 acres of land. It is run as a small rural sanctuary and is home to rescued chickens, goats and pigs, as well as two humans and their companion dogs and cats. The main property is fenced, with a large field at the back, great for camping, and an orchard to explore.

We both work full time and you will have a mix of time alone and shared leisure/meal time. We are happy to share local attractions and our skills.

This was such a great experience, and as someone who's never been on a farm, I learned a lot! Both hosts were welcoming and patient. Krystine and I had some awesome conversations and really gave me a “taste” of Rhode Island!
