Mingaco

Day by day we do our best to live as sustainably and consciously as possible within our context and possibilities. We interact with nature based on the observation of our surroundings, both earthly and astral, and we practice natural farming, of a family-farm character, with a regenerative approach that has a positive impact on what surrounds us, with low CO2 emissions and zero waste.

We are a couple of idealists from different backgrounds, but who converged in one place: CheKura.

Pablo: A peasant from these lands, whose vision and practice of agriculture are in cooperation with nature to help its regeneration and obtain living and healthy foods.

Daniela: Passionate about healthy eating and spiritual development. Thanks to this, photography and her handling of new technologies act as a link between Mingaco and the world.

Luan: Born in 2018, bringing his intellect. He loves learning new things, especially about nature.

Mayra: Born in 2021, bringing her firm determination and mischief.

Naía: Born in 2024, bringing peace and joy.

It is a beautiful place that allowed me to learn a lot about wine culture and even participate in some of its processes. I really enjoyed being able to put into practice my web design and video editing skills in such a special environment.

My experience at the vineyard confirmed my phobia of tarantulas and helped me identify my limits regarding comfort. The vineyard is an excellent place to connect with nature. However, you must be comfortable with the rudimentary facilities offered. The vineyard also demands a good capacity for adaptation. The daily plans are changing and sometimes poorly communicated. Pablo gladly shares his passion for wine and his way of vinifying. He adopts a rather calm and easy-going dynamic. As for her, Daniela is more directive in her requests.

A transformative and very authentic experience in a vineyard, surrounded by nature (and its fauna🕸️😜).\nThe conditions are simple (basic facilities, cold showers, real rural life), so it's not for everyone.\nIt's a total immersion: although 40h per week are planned, being isolated means cohabitation is continuous and the pace is set by the family.\nFor me it allowed me to reconnect with the essential, to value simplicity and to see that the true contribution lies in character and attitude.\nIf you come with openness and adaptability, you will take away much more than learning about natural wine.

Daniela and Pablo were so kind and relaxed, great hosts and I felt very welcome. I looked after the children for most of the day but had hours off and got to explore the area when I had days off. The children are adorable and I enjoyed spending time outside with them in the sun on walks, collecting fruit and playing with the neighbours. Thanks so much for everything ❤️
