NEWSTAYINN HOSTEL

Hello!

I'm Hara and Josh the hostel manager of Newstayinn.

We acquired this hostel back in September 2023, and most of the remodeling is now complete.

Since then, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming 26 amazing volunteers, including Kim, Helene, Illany, Clo, Anisha, Reteu, Tasha, Eunice, Valeria, Valentina, Noelia, Maire, Dee, Sabrina, Sofie, Pamela, Teddy, Giada, Caoimhe, Natalie, Wynne, Sara, Michel, Hana, Priya, and Margarita. Many more are planning to visit soon!

I’ve grown very close to them, like family. We’ve taken photos together, gone to karaoke, and even enjoyed monthly BBQ parties.

While it may not have been perfect, I truly did my best to create a welcoming and supportive environment for our volunteers.

If you’re looking for a place to stay, come to our hostel in Myeong-dong, the heart of Seoul, and enjoy a comfortable stay!

I hope you experience Korea to the fullest, and if you’re interested in learning Korean, please join us!

As a professional actor, I can teach you Korean with enthusiasm and fun reactions!

Thank you!

Josh, our manager, and I always strive to support our volunteers. If you’re interested in learning Korean, feel free to join us! We both graduated from the Department of Theater and Film and are also working as actors. I can teach you Korean in a simple and easy way.

There is a microwave and an electric stove available for cooking.
We provide a dedicated refrigerator for employees.
Volunteers are accommodated in a private four-person dormitory with bathrooms. All volunteers are women.
Washing machines and dryers are available for free on the 4th floor.
Once a month, we host a Korean BBQ party for all employees!

Thank you so much dear Josh and Hara! Thank you for making my trip in seoul possible and memorable. You are treat volunteers fairly. You always make sure we are feeling comfortable of what we do and you help us when even it is our duty. It is very nice for you to take us out too. My first volunteering in the hostel will definitely be an unforgetable experience!!The work is doable and fair. The hosts Hara and Josh are really welcoming, kind and generous, always there if you need anything!! The hostel is in a very convenient location with lots of different activities and places to visit nearby. There is plenty of time to explore the whole city. I am beyond grateful for the amazing team of volunteers and hosts i met there and the memories we had together!! I would recommend it without hesitation!!Big thank youu!!

I had a very good volunteering experience in NewStayInn. The work involved cleaning the hostel, instructions and feedback were always clear, so there were no misunderstandings. The tasks usually took 2–3 hours. The managers, Hara and Josh, were very friendly and helpful. They also organized a nice group dinner and a New Year’s lunch, which was a lovely gesture. The living conditions were comfortable – a good bed, basic food products, free laundry, as well as a towel, slippers, shampoo, and body wash. The atmosphere among volunteers was amazing and we often spent evenings together. Thanks

I've never seen a Frenchman who is a fan of Sung Si-kyung! You should come back and sing his song at karaoke. I hope you really enjoy Busan and come back!
