I had a great time at the home! From the beginning, I felt very welcome and quickly became part of the place. The atmosphere is relaxed and social, and it's a great place to meet other travelers. The work was fair and easy to combine with plenty of free time to surf, explore and enjoy the area. I especially appreciated the people I met and the overall vibe of the hostel. It really started to feel like home during my stay. I'd definitely recommend the home to anyone looking for a laid-back place to volunteer, meet people and enjoy the surf lifestyle!

Had a great time with Cèsar at the home. He's a very welcoming, relaxed and flexible host, and the volunteer work is simple, mainly consisting of keeping the guesthouse tidy and organised. Cèsar also makes it easy to get involved in surf sessions, whether locally in Huanchaco or on fun day trips to Chicama. Definitely try the tasty home-cooked meals, but don't feel restricted to eating at the house — there are plenty of good places to eat in town too. Overall, it's a chilled-out place to stay, surf and meet good people.

I loved the experience! César is incredibly pleasant, attentive, and friendly. The routine and the atmosphere of the home are relaxed and beautiful, and I met many other travelers who came to stay there. I could have a surf lesson and, honestly, I really appreciate the opportunity, the patience, and the attention!! I am leaving incredibly grateful to César and his family🙏🏻

I loved my stay at the home and would absolutely recommend Cesar's place! Cesar and his family made me feel welcome from the start. We had lots of fun surfing, hiking, sandboarding, partying, and hanging out. It's a great way to experience everyday life in Huanchaco, enjoy delicious home-cooked food, and practice Spanish. Huanchaco is a relaxed surf town with a great atmosphere and plenty to do. I met amazing people, made great memories, and would definitely come back! 🌊❤️
