I loved the experience! It was great meeting Sueli, Bruna, and Rodrigo, and I'll miss Sueli's wonderful lunches very much 🥹❤️ The work is relaxed and the environment makes us feel totally at ease. The only downside is the noise in Pelourinho, which is a very busy area. Overall, it was a very good experience and I'll treasure it!

Hi! I want to thank you very much for the warm reception. Bruna, Sueli (staff). Pedro Mari and Paola, volunteers with whom we shared the stay there. The guesthouse is beautiful, there is only a common space; sometimes it can get a bit disruptive but it also makes you go out and get to know the neighborhood which is very beautiful. I stayed a short time because there is music all day and it can be a little hard to rest. But staying in Pelô is a unique experience. I will definitely return. Once again thank you for the warm reception and for being my first home in Salvador!

The lodging at Origem was pleasant; the hostel is located in the center of Pelourinho (which never sleeps, you live an immersion in culture 24 hours a day). I connected with local people. The activities are light and the schedule is followed as suggested on the platform; sometimes Bruna asks us to work overtime, since it is reimbursed with time off or in free hours. Breakfast and lunch are served and they are quite tasty (they remind me of grandma's cooking).
Bruna is very calm and open to dialogue when needed, as is Rodrigo.

The volunteering at the origin hostel was excellent, the hosts Rodrigo and Bruna are always helpful and make us feel quite at ease. They provide excellent breakfast and lunch, and I stayed in a good shared room with other volunteers. The tasks are very easy, basically we stay at the reception in the night or late shift, so we always have the morning free to explore the historic center or the surroundings. Salvador and especially Pelourinho always have quite a lot to do every day, so if you enjoy activities and immersion in the local culture this is the right place. Thank you!
