Such a lovely experience! Rodrigo, Bruna, and the girls were so lovely to work with and I loved my time in Origem! It was such a culturally immersive experience in the heart of the historic quarter of Salvador, and defintely encouraged to work harder on my Portuguese language study. I wish everyone all the best and cannot wait to see how Origem progresses and grows in the next few months ❤️

Alice, my dear, it was wonderful to have you at our guesthouse; our doors will always be open to welcome you back anytime❤️
We apologize for not being able to leave you good reviews on the platform; unfortunately every time we tried there was an error. If you could talk to worldpackers to give us the option to review you, we would be grateful.

I loved the experience! It was great meeting Sueli, Bruna, and Rodrigo, and I'll miss Sueli's wonderful lunches very much 🥹❤️ The work is relaxed and the environment makes us feel totally at ease. The only downside is the noise in Pelourinho, which is a very busy area. Overall, it was a very good experience and I'll treasure it!

The volunteering at the origin hostel was excellent, the hosts Rodrigo and Bruna are always helpful and make us feel quite at ease. They provide excellent breakfast and lunch, and I stayed in a good shared room with other volunteers. The tasks are very easy, basically we stay at the reception in the night or late shift, so we always have the morning free to explore the historic center or the surroundings. Salvador and especially Pelourinho always have quite a lot to do every day, so if you enjoy activities and immersion in the local culture this is the right place. Thank you!

A peaceful stay. The quiet schedules, quiet work. I have nothing to complain about. I would like to thank the entire team, Rodrigo, Bruna, and my fellow volunteers who were with me!
