Ouro da Terra

The space was named Ouro da Terra in 2020, when I immersed myself in it, a patch of virgin forest that had not yet suffered any human influence. I lived for a year and a half camping in a tent with my companion, the guy Chosen. During that period I was deeply immersed and connected with Mother Nature. Gradually we are building a welcoming space in total harmony with nature, aiming for as little impact as possible. I have been building my own imagination, slowly and steadily, planting as much food as I can, with the resources we have, clean food. 100% of our water comes from rainwater harvesting, so we take care to use it consciously. We strive to reuse as much of it as possible in distribution and planting, and we decided to open the space to volunteers who are interested in visiting us and helping us a little in our daily routine.

Here at Ouro da Terra we are seeking volunteers who are interested in visiting us and helping a little with our daily routine; hear your silence and discover a place of peace on this Earth.

Rodrigo was very kind to open his home to me. We agreed on the tasks I could do during my stay and we kept talking whenever a question came up. I felt comfortable and safe staying there. I could manage enjoyable tasks while also being able to enjoy the house, the surroundings, and the peace of the place. Rodrigo has a house and a livelihood that generate very little environmental impact, and he is interested in technologies that he can develop with this aim. It was a real learning experience! I thank Rodrigo for the trust and for all the exchanges.
