My first experience here was really incredible. The whole team of people who work here is amazing. And I must say, Silvia gives us so, so much more than we expect, and the experience at the hostel was wonderful from the moment I arrived until my last day. Very happy to have been part of the team and with my first experience here at WordPackers!!!! I highly recommend the experience

This was my first volunteering experience and I will be forever grateful for it. Silvia and the entire team at the hostel were truly gifts from life to me. The work was calm, with all activities very well explained, flexibility when necessary and openness to propose new ideas. The volunteers' house has everything we need for a peaceful and comfortable stay. The entire hostel structure is perfect, as well as being very well located. Staying at the reception allows us to make connections with guests from various places around the world, making the experience even more enriching.

I can only thank you for this time at the hostel. My first experience with WorldPackers. It was wonderful; I am immensely grateful to Silvia and everyone on the Neto team, Yuri, Ju, Raul, and Nega. Incredible people, always willing to help, with a great vibe. The kitchen was good, with all the utensils for us to prepare the meals. But the most amazing thing is the place: Vale do Capão is beautiful. I am very happy and grateful for the opportunity to be part of this family that is the hostel. I will definitely come back. I loved it with all my heart

My experience as a volunteer had its positives and challenges. Being at the reception on alternating days provided more free time to experience the place. At times, I noticed a communication lacking patience, with a tone I considered rude from the host. I believe that a relationship based on respect, dialogue, and empathy makes all the difference for someone who is far from home dedicating their time to volunteering. I hope this feedback is received in a constructive way and contributes to improvements both in the environment and in how future volunteers are welcomed. Grateful for the learning.

I was very well received and welcomed at the hostel. Silvia is a calm and assertive host at the same time. The work at the reception is very calm and the content deliveries are balanced to be able to experience the wonders that Capão offers. The team is wonderful, the facilities are great and very close to the village. I had structure and tranquility to work, go hiking, rest, and I made friends easily at the hostel. I highly recommend Vale do Capão and the hostel.
