My experience as a volunteer was quite different from what I expected. Although I had the opportunity to meet incredible people and experience very beautiful moments, I also faced several uncomfortable situations related to accommodation, organization and the conditions during the volunteering period. There were problems with the room, the bathroom, rest and access to air conditioning, in addition to some situations that made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I consider it important that, before choosing this place, other travelers take these aspects into account and clarify the conditions very well.

Hello Camila, as I said before, thank you for your contribution, and I want to reiterate that, unfortunately, I was not at the guesthouse. You can take as reference other comments and reviews from times when I am at the guesthouse, but I think this was your first experience as a volunteer, and that is not it. Contrary to what you said, other volunteers evaluated and spoke openly about the accommodation and how I am with rest and schedules; I am very flexible, however I also ask for flexibility. I would write more.

It was a very good experience to be in Natal, but especially in such a calm and welcoming environment as the Hostel. Marcleide was a sweetheart! She welcomed me really well, explained clearly what the tasks were, and was quite flexible; I loved exchanging ideas with her.
I needed to finish earlier than planned, and Márcio was very understanding.
The hostel is literally right in front of the beach, which is incredible; the place is wonderful.

It was a very positive experience; the hostel is located just a few meters from the beach, which for me makes all the difference. There was breakfast as promised, Márcio and Marcleide treated me very well and the work was very smooth. I highly recommend this experience and I am grateful for the affection I received from the hosts ♥️

Cleaning tasks and morning coffee. Márcio and Macleidi are very nice people. A very calm space, I recommend volunteers to check out Hostel Natal, enjoy the beach and take a rest, send a hug to Kira as well 🐶
