Rafiki Hostels
We are located in Dahab, which has by time developed into a small, coastal hippie town in the South of the Sinai peninsula, Egypt. It is considered an all year round destination for travellers who want a break from big cities and connect with nature. The Red Sea is perfect for divers, just as the mountains are for the climbers and hikers. Also, Dahab is windy most of the year, so that makes it a paradise for wind and kite surfers.
Dahab is also a meeting point for spirituality and art. Our community helps to discover and understand different philosophies and spark creativity. Maybe you will discover a new passion by joining a yoga or meditation class? Or simply enjoy listening to the sound of the sea.

Without a doubt the best hostel in Dahab! the hostel has a fantastic blend of great guests, effective and friendly management and staff, and so many great events to enjoy (mostly for free 😉). The work is a breeze, but still enough to stay involved with the guests and what's going on around town, and you have plenty of free time to enjoy Dahab for yourself as well. Honestly, don't miss the opportunity to join the team here :)

I love the hostel! The tasks are fun and chill and you get to know amazing people! the hostel team is amazing, and I actually extended my stay because Dahab is a very special place! Highly recommend the volunteering opportunity!!!

I had a lovely time at the hostel, I mainly worked creating social media reels and photography. They operate like a family and there is always something to do! The vibes are amazing and I ended up going snorkeling and to a mountain party with them while taking some time to do my part aswell :). Would be very happy to come again! :).

I volunteered at the hostel for two months and ended up extending my stay thanks to the welcoming and friendly team. From day one, I felt part of the hostel family. From an HR perspective 🤓, what makes the hostel special is the quality of its people, which clearly reflects the strong vision and values of the management. I met wonderful people and leave with great memories. The tasks are simple with a flexible schedule. For future volunteers: come with an open mind and enjoy the experience. I can't quite put my experience into words — and of course my opinion is biased, because the Rafikis team became my family. The work is amazing, and for anyone who enjoys social interaction, there truly isn't a better place. Schedules are respected, everything is organized, and all they ask in return is commitment. I loved the energy, the team, and everything we lived there. My family in Dahab — a part of my life I will never forget. Thank you for everything. (I won't mention names because every single person was wonderful to me.)
