Rusutsu Lodges

We offer a conveniently located lodge in the middle of the ski fields (the closest resort is less than a 5-minute walk!) The area is quiet for those who want to get away from the crowds in nearby Niseko but still enjoy incredible powder.

For the green season, the ski resort close by turns into a theme park. The mountains surrounding the lodge open to excellent hiking. You can enjoy rafting or sap in the rivers and we have a car that volunteers can use to explore the region. Toya Lake is a must-see - a good challenge to loop on a bicycle.

We are a good company to work for; we don't expect you to be a robot or superhuman. We do, however, expect teamwork - we are here to have fun - BUT - we have to work hard too. Respect is important to your co-workers and helping each other out when needed.

With us, if you work more than the allotted hours for your accommodation costs we pay a wage in accordance with Japanese law.

We want both work exchange workers but also individuals who are willing to work more when it's busy to help the team.
