Sapa Viet Nam

Hello everyone! 🌿
About Us

We are Sapawine Vietnam, a traditional family-run winery and homestay located in Tả Phìn Village, Sa Pa, Lào Cai, surrounded by beautiful mountains, valleys, rice terraces, and peaceful nature.

Our family produces wine from local fruits and berries using traditional handmade methods. The area is known for its stunning landscapes, fresh mountain air, and authentic local culture, offering visitors a relaxing and unique experience of life in northern Vietnam.

We enjoy meeting people from different cultures and sharing our daily life with travelers from around the world. That is why we joined Worldpackers

We Are Open Again for Volunteers 🌱Volunteers choose us because they can experience authentic local life in Sapa, learn about traditional rice wine making, enjoy Vietnamese food, and become part of a local family while helping only 2 hours per day.
We have a wine production workshop, but if you want to learn about and participate in the production process, you have to work 8 hours a day. If you work 2 hours, you'll only be assisting with tasks like labeling, wrapping, and washing bottles.

Sapawine is run by a wonderful family. They will try whatever they can to make sure you are comfortable, as long as you communicate any issue. The food and wine were great and I had a private room for 7/8 nights.

The work is very reasonable, but if you want more work or less work you can ask for it.

I have nothing to say, really, other than wishing everyone could feel as welcomed as this. This home has become my family, and I couldn't have asked for a better mom for my trip to Vietnam.

I shared a room with a girl who became like a sister to me; we had fun collecting eggs, feeding the fish and swimming with them, and cooking local or Italian dishes together (tiramisu and pizza!!!).

I'll miss you all so much!

Hi con Gái, have you come back to the country yet, or where are you now? For the first time, a girl came to my house and called me mom; I feel very happy. Wishing you peaceful and happy travels. This place is your home when you return to Vietnam. I miss you a lot.

Staying with Ms. Yen was a highlight. She welcomed us into her home with incredible warmth and a true desire to make people happy. Hearing her story and how she started the winery Wine. The experience was wonderfully chill and peaceful, exactly what I needed. I'm so grateful for my fellow volunteers and the quick bond we formed; goodbyes are always bittersweet, but memories last forever! Huge thanks to Ms. Hanh, Ms. Thom, Mr. Hue, and their driver neighbor 😅 for always assisting us. I can't wait to see Ms. Yen's future endeavors. See you in DaNang for sure!
