I am incredibly grateful for the weeks I stayed with Carmelo, Liliane, and Lorenzo. They included me in everything, which made me feel like part of the family, but it also gave me the chance to truly live like a local: I got to enjoy so much amazing food, visit charming small towns, and even learn a bit of Italian. All in all, they were fantastic weeks with lovely people. Grazie mille!

Anais was a wonderful volunteer at Shauri Glamping. Cheerful and always smiling, she truly became part of our family. She carried out maintenance and painting tasks with care and helped a lot with guest support and room setup. She loves coffee and sugar‑free candies, and often joined us on the sofa for Sudoku or board games, making our afternoon relaxed and fun. We would warmly recommend her to any host!

This was my first volunteering experience and it couldn't have been better. Carmelo, Liliana and Lorenzo were so welcoming and made me feel at home right away. They were always kind and flexible, helping me with rides when I needed and teaching me new things, especially in the kitchen. the camping site is stunning, surrounded by nature and the perfect place to relax and enjoy Sicily. I'm very grateful for my time here and would definitely recommend this place to anyone considering volunteering.

I had the most incredible month staying at the camping with Carmelo, Lilliana and Lorenzo. The experience was so enjoyable, a beautiful place to enjoy nature, and learn about local Sicilian culture. I am so grateful for my Italian family for welcoming me into their home — it was sad to leave but it was a “see you soon!” I will be back for sure! If you're considering applying to this position I highly recommend. I have answered some questions/posted lots of content on my IG - @taylordncn - if you're curious ☺️

First experience as a world packer.. I enjoyed it a lot, helping Carmelo for a couple of hours in the morning, then having a delicious lunch, and after that I had the whole day to go out and explore or just relax and enjoy nature , they were all very nice, and I felt comfortable at their place. I tried delicious and authentic Italian food, my favorite meal was Pasta a la Norma, I also loved homemade gelato. I felt like part of the family. I absolutely loved the experience!
