The farm is a magical and beautiful place, the guesthouse is well organized to welcome many volunteers. Jan and Thina are an excellent couple who give a lot of love and affection. It's the second time I volunteer here and I would do a third one 😊. I can't say anything negative, I only hope that whoever is reading my review and goes to volunteer there values the place and the people who inhabit it, since there is no other place like it and other people as charming as those there ❤️

People, yes, if you want to be in nature, make a good exchange, share with great people and learn permaculture, this place is the best. Jan and Thina are the coolest, the vibe is on point, very helpful, attentive to the volunteers' needs. I have returned to this place for a second time and I truly recommend it. I’ll miss you all, Jan!!!!!

Our experience at Montanha Mágica was very special. Tina and Jean are warm, attentive hosts who make everyone feel at home. The work was intense but organized, with tasks explained and distributed in a balanced way. They respected my limits and guided the activities according to my possibilities, while Cristiano could contribute with his electrical knowledge. Besides volunteering, we shared unforgettable moments around the campfire, cooked together, listened to poetry, learned new recipes and made friendships that we will carry with us for life. ❤️

This was my first volunteering experience, and I was lucky to be at the Magic Mountain. Jan, Thina, Léo and Joana fully understand the role of volunteering. It was an experience of pure respect and collaboration. We stayed with ten volunteers at the house, with vegetarian meals, bed linens and blankets, Internet, and all the resources offered to bring us as much comfort as possible. We worked five hours a day, where we learned how to take care of the soil, how to plant, how to handle tools, how to take care of the place, in addition to the thousands of recipes we learned together. The stay at the project exercised my mid- and long-term visions: activities such as the construction of a worm bin and taking advantage of organic matter made me feel I was humbly contributing to something whose future sparked my curiosity, and that the effort of that moment would also bring about future pleasant developments for nature. And for this reason I hope the host will continue with the willingness that he shared with us in these weeks so that sustainability ideas continue to sprout in that space.
