Sítio Simple Life

If you love nature, enjoy beach culture, and are also interested in seeking more sustainable ways for our existence, Sitio Simple Life is your place.

Our site is nestled in the Atlantic Forest on one of the most beautiful beaches in Ubatuba, famous among surfers, with the most constant waves on the Brazilian coast and the epicenter of the history of competitive surfing in Brazil; five minutes' walk from Sitio is the best surf spot on Itamambuca beach, and five minutes' walk away we also have our Itamambuca River, excellent for Stand Up Paddle and canoeing.

At Sitio we work with Permaculture, which involves bioconstruction, agroforestry, waste separation, recycling, crafts, production of bread and pasta, holistic activities and conscious eating packed with foods from the backyard.
All geared toward sustainability in total harmony with nature and the surroundings.

Sitio Simple Life was born from the dream of living in a more sustainable way; here we believe in conscious tourism, in the improvement of human relations, and in a life in harmony with nature.
We consider our Sitio as a kind of laboratory, an area of experiments that will be the foundations of our ecovillage and community. As a volunteer, you will be here to collaborate with the project, experiment and enjoy, experiencing it in practice with us!

An ecovillage is a magnet for nice people. I have made several Brazilian and foreign friends. There are kayaks and boards to enjoy the surroundings, the river, and the beach. The food is natural.

Sheylla e Rafael replied

Unfortunately Jordi, perhaps due to language barrier or some other limitation, was not able to read and understand all the descriptions of the values and agreements for volunteering, which are very clear and the person can choose to accept or not. As you can see in all the other comments we only have positive points about the hosts Rafael and Sheylla. Rafael is always very helpful in teaching and encouraging everyone to have new experiences, always making the volunteers feel comfortable in their areas of work. Jordi's statements are a complete lie; he did not run off, but was invited to withdraw, by a common decision of all the residents of the community for showing total disrespect and disconnection with the project. Just as all the statements about Rafa are a complete calumny, exactly the opposite of what actually happens here, and we have hundreds of volunteers with beautiful experiences who can confirm this.
Because of this absurdity, all the calumny and attempt at defamation, we are considering taking Jordi to court. And we kindly ask the Worldpackers team to remove Jordi's comment, which used this space unfairly. We urge all hosts on this platform not to accept this person as a volunteer in their projects. And that Worldpackers evaluate the continued involvement of a person who tries to calumniate and defame hosts.
