Hi, my name is Maire and this was my first volunteer. /
Hola, soy Maire y éste fue mi primer voluntariado.
As far as I was concerned, it was very good, the different managers, both Mario and Luiz, were always very kind and attentive to me, any questions or needs I had were attended to, especially Luiz, who is the one with whom he had direct contact. I did the corresponding tasks, never more or less. I always had the time to get to know the city on my own. During the time I was there, they did certain renovations, but they were to improve the spaces for everyone. In my experience it was 10/10.

The experience of living at Sota was incredible. I met wonderful people who became family. Mario is a great person, who makes your stay comfortable and also gives you recommendations on what activities to do in Los Angeles. A breathtaking and magical city that keeps your heart. The work is quite light, they are activities that take up few hours of your day. All the experiences gained, the friendships, the places visited are much more compared to the time you give in return. I would recommend Sota to my best friend. Mario, thank you very much for receiving me with great kindness.

In SOTA you will meet people pursuing an acting carreer, postgraduate students of UCLA, foreigns on English courses and people who are working. The tasks with Mario are fine, he is a great manager and cares about your stay. In your tasks you will meet most of the tenants. You should have experience in co living to apply here or be open mind. You will have plenty time to enjoy Los Angeles and if you like west side and the beach it's your perfect option. The location is near vibrant neighborhoods.

In general I had a very good stay at SOTA coliving, the only problem was when Mario travelled and me and only one more volunteer were in charge of the whole building, we had so much more work than we were supposed to.
we had to do stuff that wasnt in the deal and for me it was very exausting since we had to keep the phone 24h a day, and it wouldnt stop receiving messages from the tenants complaining about every kind of thing, we had to deal with plumbing, internet issues, missing objects, and even kick out an unwanted tenant when nothing of this was supposed to be our job.
