Volunteers can enjoy learning organic farmimng in Thai local context, local cooking, village culture, and simple way of living in nature. I can show volunteers around my village, including local markets and small sightseeing spots.
I am learning and practicing King Rama 9th philosophy, which is a method for Thai farmers towards self-sufficient way of living with compasdionate heart for people and nature around. Normally I am working alone and need hands from volunteers. I like to meet people from other countries and I want to learn English more.

The farm has a beautiful location right in the middle of nature.
Every day we cooked three meals and learned a lot about plants and our health.
Our work mostly consisted of working in the garden for a few hours (weeding, watering...).
If you're looking for an experience outside the city and away from tourist areas, the farm is the right place for that.
The captain doesn't speak fluent English, but that was hardly a problem.

Our 10-day stay on the farm was wonderful. Captain Xiang always did his absolute best to ensure we had a great experience. We were provided with three meals a day, plus plenty of delicious, new types of fruit to snack on in between. It's clear how much he loves his farm. We had different tasks each day, and he even took us along on a two-day trip, so there was always plenty of variety. I will definitely be back!

Captain Xiang is a great farmer in Samoeng, Chiangmai. He is easygoing and super hardworking. When I stayed at his farm, he cooked each meal, and helped me to know about the organic farm.
He picked up me from Wat Nam Rin when I arrived, and drove me to the bus stop when I left. He has done everything he could to make me feel at home.
