Sukia Kin
Sukia Kin is a small off-grid sanctuary on 50,000 m² of Osa Peninsula rainforest — waterfalls, rivers, lookouts and ocean view, 20 minutes from Drake Bay. We run on solar and our own spring water, host a handful of guests in ocean-view domes, and are building a place where people slow down and reconnect with the living world around them.
Volunteers get a real role in that: hosting guests, growing food, and shaping the daily rhythm of the place. If you want a jungle that is actually a jungle, and a small team that treats you as one of its own, this is it.
I'm David — founder of Sukia Travel and Sukia Kin, wilderness first responder and naturalist guide with 15 years in Osa. We ran Sukia Hostel in Drake Bay for years (that's where our 41 reviews come from) and moved the whole team up the hill to Kin in 2026.
We're a small crew of 2–3 full-timers. Volunteers live in the volunteer house (three rooms, beds, electricity, water) inside the property, eat with us, and join whatever's going on: guests, gardens, river days. Clear tasks, 2 days off a week, and we ask for the same respect we give.
