Sunnyhomestay

I've been hosting people at my farm/homestay since last 10 years from all around the world. So I'm very comfortable being and working around travelers. we have a family farm where we grow our own vegetables and working just 2 hours a day gives our volunteers a good opportunity to learn farming and also have quite a lot of time to explore Kathmandu valley . I can also help my volunteers to get in close touch with locals food and culture.
I'm also a professional trekker and guide. So, I can provide my volunteers some tours like camping, waterfall trip, trekking in mountains etc. and I can also provide them all the information they need for travelling and trekking in Nepal.

Volunteers participate in the daily life of the house as well as getting familiar with our neighborhood. Never mind if you stay for few weeks the most important is that you feel home and become part of it. Farming, teaching some English, cooking and preparing the family daily meals or helping us with some simple daily chores, will let you to be part of our family, which means learning our way of living.

I absolutely loved staying in Sunny Homestay. The family was very welcoming. They helped me to understand the local culture and gave me a lot of tips on what to visit in Nepal. They also took good care of me when I got sick.

A fun part of the experience was that there are always staying multiple volunteers in the house. We did a lot of things together, which made me feel more comfortable as a solo traveler.

Thank you everyone for the heartwarming experience!♥️

I had a really good time in Nishal’s house, a lot of sharing with the family and the volunteers.
Also we had the time to visit the city, the temple and everything.
I recommend this Homestay, I really appreciate my time here.

I found woofing very peaceful and a great way to meet lots of travellers. But I found it more like a cheap hotel than a woofing experience.
If you want to have time to enjoy Kathmandu, it's perfect. The family is very flexible about a lot of things. But others a little less so and the atmosphere and sharing between the family is not very present. Too much tik tok. I often had the impression of being in a hostel rather than in a family and sharing beautiful moments together.
Good value for money but not a family discovery.

Wow I was not expecting this,we of course didn’t want to disturb you while you stay all day in your room with your privacy.I think you will appreciate when you grow up.You should also be eager to talk and ask don’t expect us to do the whole part as you should also ask and try to learn. If you are not open how can we be?if you stay at other home don’t use other stuff without the permission like machine going rooms you are not allowed Paul. I did had things but I told you Infront not here!

I loved staying with Nischal and his family! I always feel hospitality. Nischal is very helpful and I always felt support during my trip. This experience is the great way to get in touch with local culture and to know about Nepali traditions and way of life. I was lucky to see the festival celebration and take part in ceremony which the family had in their house. Moreover Nischal took me on a motorbike trip which was truly amazing! The views were fantastic and we had no tourists and very less people around which makes the experience unique.
Thank you for your kindness and hospitality!
