It was an experience for sure. The accommodation is truly beautiful and the cats are lovely. Unfortunately I wasn8t there during the high tourist season so the island was quiet and not a lot to do, but to go to the beach with was nice. The downside would be the hosts attitude and communication. One day she would be engouraging and positive and the next second it was the complete opposite. It was a tense atmosphere and I didnt feel comfortable and had to leave early.

Maris did not have the experience required to work in a fast passed environment . Maris thought of a holiday than true volunteering. I was explaining how to do the automatic & very expensive cats litters, she burst into tears and stormed off. Came back 30 minutes later telling me her dad and died 2 years ago that day. She complained to one of the ladies - working for us - that she was doing too many hours that she should only be working 3 hours per day. She never explained this to me.
