The Lights Hostel

Looking for a fun hostel where you´ll have a good time and will meet people from all around the world while you get to know the Spanish culture! Don´t look further! We are located in a superb location right in the centre of Malaga. Come check us out and see why we love it here! We're a friendly place, its our place and we really care about it, so we want to give you the best possible experience while you stay in sunny Malaga, the warmest city in mainland Europe!

Our main goal is to create a nice, homey and fun ambiance, we always try to ensure that everyone is having a great time and make the most out of their experience at the hostel! We spent a year renovating a historical building in a superb location right in the centre of Malaga and we are always trying to improve and maintain eveything in high standards. We have 11 full time employees that you will be helping in different shifts: we always try to keep it fair so everyone get a mix of all the shifts. Also, we are a vegan friendly hostel: most of our meals have a vegan or vegeterian option and we provide alternative for breakfast too!

Lights was one of the best volunteers that I did ever.
The others volunteers are nice and you have a lot of free time to walk around and know the city.
If you are thinking about going or not, just go, probably gonna be a such good experience for u.

Very grateful for this hostel, one of the best volunteer jobs I did, each person on the team is very good, they were very patient and empathetic with me when I needed it. The activities are very simple and you really enjoy them with the atmosphere there is. You take with you many friends and memories, I definitely recommend it!

Absolutely fantastic experience volunteering at the lights! Such a welcoming vibe from all the staff and other volunteers. Great vibe in the hostel, very social and the work is enjoyable. As a first volunteering experience this was truly amazing. I would recommend this to anyone :)

Honestly, if you get the possibility to stay here, go for it!! Hostel is a very cozy place in the very center of Malaga, work is mostly really fun and you live together with all the volunteers in an apartment close to the Hostel. All in all, the best place I visited ever! :D

Hello! My experience in The Lights Hostel was wonderful.

First, both the team and the volunteers with whom I shared this trip were extraordinary.
Here, I have felt like I was in a big family, where in addition to enjoying myself, I have learned about many things and have been able to improve my level of English.

My experience started two and a half months ago, but I stayed longer because I loved this place. The tasks are simple, and the volunteer flat is good.

To end, of course I would recommend this place, the best hostel in Málaga!
