Ti Thong Hostel

At Ti Thong Hostel, volunteering means living in a home — not just staying in a hostel.
We believe in “Away from home, together”: a place where travelers, volunteers, and staff naturally connect, share meals, stories, and everyday moments.

Our hostel feels like a local friend’s house in the city. It’s social but never forced, lively but still calm. You’ll get to meet people from around the world, help create a welcoming atmosphere, and be part of a community where everyone looks out for each other.

If you enjoy meaningful conversations, slow mornings, shared laughter, and creating a space where people feel comfortable being themselves, Ti Thong will feel like home.

We are a small, close-knit team who genuinely care about people. Volunteers are treated as friends and family, not staff. We value kindness, respect, and good communication more than perfection.

You can expect a supportive and relaxed working environment. Tasks are clear, schedules are fair, and there is always room to talk, learn, and grow. We respect your time, your energy, and your personal space — and we hope you’ll treat the hostel and the people in it with the same care.

At Ti Thong, everyone contributes to the feeling of home.

I loved my time at the hostel! The team is super friendly and helpful. Everything was clearly communicated, If I needed help I knew who to reach out to. Theyre also super open to feedback and suggestions to help the hostel grow. I would have stayed longer if I could, definitely recommend.

I had a really good time volunteering at the hostel. The team was kind from the first day, and the hostel feels like a small house, not a big party place. I helped with different daily activities for the guests. The hours were fair, and I still had time to explore. The location is great: old town, close to the morning market, the MRT, and the main temples. I recommend it.

I had a great experience at the hostel through Worldpackers, working with their team on social media. The team is friendly and makes you feel at home from day one. The atmosphere is relaxed, yet everyone takes their work seriously. The hostel is clean, well-located, and close to main attractions and local markets I had creative freedom for posts and projects, while always feeling supported. I highly recommend the hostel to anyone looking for a friendly, safe, and inspiring place to work and connect with amazing people.
