I had a great time with Nicki and Tirza! I spent alot of time with there family as I was the only volunteer there for some time. The work load at the end of the season was quite easy and they helped me out where they could. The kids are alot of fun to be around and I learnt quite alot from them ! It can get quite cold and wet so be sure to bring the right clothes if you're there at the end of the season like me. Thank you Nicki and Tirza :)

The nature here is beautiful, both on the campsite and around it. The free access to electric bikes was crucial to enjoying my stay and I'm very grateful for it. I'm happy I got to explore Denmark with this opportunity <3 also, the hosts' kids are incredibly sweet and smart, and it was a joy to hang out with them.

It was a beautiful experience, I managed to connect with nature and with the animals 🫶🏻 I enjoyed having the afternoon free to do whatever everyone wanted. Using the electric bikes was amazing for getting around and wandering through Rudkøbing. The transportation is also very good for exploring Svendborg on days off :) I also liked that among the volunteers you can choose what to buy at the supermarket, so it's very convenient! Nicki and Tirza are lovely people and they support you in any situation. It's important to know that it's a vegetarian residence and you cannot eat or cook meat in the house!

From the first day, Nicki, Tirza, Otti and Lui made us feel at home.
The welcome was very warm.
We enjoyed delicious dinners every night, learned a lot, rode bicycles around the islands, and shared unforgettable moments with everyone.

Nicki and Tirza are lovely and welcoming hosts who truly open their home to volunteers with kindness and warmth. The kids are also lovely and we had so much fun playing together. I also liked the tasks, we got clear instructions and the work was easy. We had delicious dinners together in the evenings, I really enjoyed that. I'm going to miss you all, the animals and the camping<3
