The Experience

We are looking for team members to join us for ongoing 2024 season (August / September)! We are a small, family-run eco-farm camp and need help with housekeeping, getting accommodations ready for new guests. And buildup / breakdown of camp. We also need help with our animals - we have dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, and mini pigs, so you need to be an animal lover. If you have building or gardening skills, also great, we have some fun projects!

We went last year and we had to come back. It feels like a home away from home, I'm sure we'll be back again. It's great to be almost in the middle of nowhere with a lot of freedom and time to relax. The work can be tiring at times (and a little gross cause toilets have to be cleaned haha) but it's only 5hrs of the day, after a good lunch you're free to explore. I would highly recommend applying and putting in the effort to get the most out of the experience. This year we got to meet new baby Lui! Very cute and Otti is going to be a pretty cool sister :) Already miss everyone and the animals!

Another amazing experience at the camping. I was here last year and couldn't wait to come back (especially to see the pigs)! For anyone considering applying I would 100% recommend, the work isn't difficult and you'll learn everything fairly quickly. Its not the most glamorous work cleaning tents and sometimes can be tiring but its totally worth it.There's plenty of things to do on the island if you're interested in nature, biking or just exploring, more so on the relaxing side of activities. Nicki and Tirza are incredible people who are so easy to get along with and generous. Thanks again 💜

I had one of the most greatest experiences at the camping ! Both Nicki & Tirza are very great, understanding, welcoming & respectful host. Always ready to listen & to new ideas, help out. We could talk about everything. The food was exceptional! The kids are very adorable & had a SUPER great time with these 2 angels, not forgetting the 4 legged family members! The place is very unique, one can easily visit the lakes, long walks in nature... I also met other great volunteers, very helpful & understanding & had such a great time! I highly recommend & would go back if time permits me !

I had such a great time at the camping! It was my first Worldpackers trip and would definitely recommend. Nicki and Tirza made me feel at home and it was great getting to know them and gorgeous Otti and Lui. The other volunteers were also all so lovely and welcoming. The work hours were respected and the girls were flexible with changing one of my days. While the work is not easy, they are in short 5 hour shifts so you have the afternoon to relax and explore. I hope to visit again in the future!

I had such an amazing time at the camping! Nicki and Tirza made it feel like home! The work was good and the hours were always respected, as well as the days off. the camping is in some beautiful nature and it was lovely to take one of the bikes for a ride to explore the island! Despite having young children, Nicki and Tirza make a big effort to make everyone feel included, like one big family! It was so cozy and fun getting to know Nicki and Tirza during my stay! It's a shame I couldn't stay for longer, I'm looking forward to being able to come back!
