From the moment Emilio, the host, welcomes you with a big smile, a hug and the best energy you know you have arrived at the right place, a volunteer program with many benefits and very simple tasks to perform, if you like meeting new people, being the life of the party and helping tourists socialize with each other, this volunteer program is for you, you have three meals a day, access to hydromassage, sauna and steam room and the stay in a hostel located in Bogotá's city center, you can go to see many attractions on foot, I recommend it 100%, Emilio is an excellent host, I did not want to leave ❤️

I had a very positive experience as a volunteer at the hostel. From the start, the atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxed, ideal for meeting people from different parts of the world. The tasks were quite flexible, which allowed me to organize my time well and also enjoy the city. I want to especially thank Emilio for his support and good energy throughout the experience. He was always attentive and willing to help, which made everything much easier and pleasant. Without a doubt, I would recommend this place to those who are looking for a volunteer experience in a friendly environment.

I do not recommend this volunteering program, although Emilio was a good leader and schedules and tasks were respected, there is a very hostile environment, especially from the receptionists Daniela and her partner Moni, they are arrogant and rude with the rest of the team and with the guests The food is terrible, breakfast every day was eggs with sliced bread and the dinner was what remained of lunch, many times they left it at room temperature all day and because of this several staff members got food poisoning.

Emilio replied

We are sorry that Santiago had this impression. During his stay, he showed non-compliance with work agreements, absences from meetings, and disrespect toward staff members.
The situation culminated in an incident at the front desk with aggressive behavior toward the team and guests, so we decided to terminate his volunteer position.
Additionally, upon reviewing previous experiences on the platform, we observed similar situations at other hostels.

I love the hostel; you learn a lot, and the team is really attentive, friendly, and collaborative. They have guided me in the best possible way and have been receptive to new ideas. A hug to Emilio, José, and Nati, wonderful people and, in general, the whole staff, thank you!

Emilio is an incredible person, and the administrative staff. The food is super tasty, there's a lot of partying and there's always something to do. The only bad thing is some bar and reception staff who are in a bad mood. If you're extroverted, this is the experience for you.
