Villa Feenix

This is a real nature gem (so a place for nature lovers). Several lakes in short walking distance, a nature reserve that start s just a few hundred meters away. You can walk kilometres through forest without seeing anyone. A wonderful place to get some quiet time, also for a couple.
At the same time one of the biggest artist communities/viallages is only a bike ride away. Apart from galleries and handicraft that also means decent coffe and several restaurants.
We were professional builders before and will share skills and all necessary info. Some previous experience is required, but we are not expecting you to know everything, rather will teach you (sort of an apprenticeship)

We are running a large community and event center about 20 minnutes away and will come to this site only 2-3 times a week. With other volunteers. Also we will off course take care of your needs, food etc and be available anytime. But generally this is a gem for someone who wants to disconnect, rather than someone who is looking for a social environment.

I really enjoy living and working at the project. Torsten, Raisa and everyone at the Hub makes you feel welcome right away. Torsten is a great teacher: he will properly explain and show you the work, watch you do it once and then let you continue on your own without looking over your shoulder constantly. The hours are as agreed. After work, the Villa is nice and quiet, surrounded by beautiful nature to explore. A nice bonus is sauna night on Wednesdays at the Hub where most volunteers stay. I like it here so much, we agreed I'm staying a little longer.
