As soon as you arrive, the host changes what is published on the page; it is 6 hours of work with two meals a day; the page says it is for a bartender and you only wash dishes; I did deep cleaning; if he sees you resting, he assigns you another task; lunch is fine; dinner is very little; the commute from the apartment to the cafe is far, so you must pay transportation 10 soles daily; there isn't much to know; and Mr. Hugo is brusque in addressing the volunteers; if you want adventure, fun, and a lovely experience, cancel your volunteer position with the host and look for something better

As I said. Since They arrived, they were very uncomfortable about Jaén. His wife told me that she was upset to Manuel for choosing Jaén like a stop in their travel. Wayraruna paid everything in transportation, gave him a motorcycle to go to the coffee shop because Manuel was traveling in moto. Manuel was good volunteer but I don't qualified Wayraruna badly. I wouldn't like to have more volunteers like them.

Not recommended volunteering since in Jaén there is nothing to see; the host is a bit shocking since he thinks you are his employee; as soon as you arrive they change the rules of the game; 6 hours of work for two meals a day; you apply to be a bartender and you end up just doing deep cleaning and washing dishes all shift without a break; his collaborators are lovely; the apartment where we were received was clean and adequate; where it is located there is no parking and the road is dirt; if you like adventure, visiting places like mountains and nature, being with attentive hosts isn't your thing; that was our experience.

Since They arrive, they told me don't like Jaén city. Luisa was extremely demanding about food. She told everyone that she is vegarian or was in diet and don't eat some food. We weren'tvprepared to attend that high requestings in meals. I don't know what was happening to then but she was upset most of the time when arrived at the cafeteria. She brought bad vibe to the coffee shop environment.

Unfortunately there were changes to my trip and I had to cancel, but the host was very understanding and welcoming. I'm sure the experience would have been amazing. ❤️

Wonderful experience at Wayraruna Café with Hugo! He is incredibly kind, flexible, and accommodating, and truly makes you feel like part of his family and circle of friends. The schedule is fair (5 days on, 2 days off), and the work is fun—learning to make coffee, coffee art, and about the amazing fruits of the Amazon. The café staff are kind, patient, and welcoming. The accommodation is about a 10 minute drive from the apartment, but Hugo provides and pays for taxis, making transportation easy. The city is charming with an ability to see Peruvian life. Highly recommend and will be back ❤️
