It was an experience that met all my expectations, and not only that, it helped my personal growth since Gigi is a very lovely person, she knows how to listen to people and you can chat about anything with her.
The tasks are very easy and you have a lot of free time to get to know Riohacha and its surroundings, it's a very lovely and calm environment, the food is delicious!!!

Thank you, my beautiful; you are a wonderful person, an incredible human being. I know that each day, with every experience, you will be able to reach and find your purpose. Thank you for all your support and sensitivity, an unconditional being. For your young age, you have an incredible maturity.

I came with the intention of getting to know La Guajira and I couldn't have arrived at a better place. 🏜️ The hostel facilities are very good, we have a room (shared) with air conditioning to rest, the chores are easy, the food is very good, and Gigi welcomed me from the very first moment. In my search to learn about this department, she guided me in everything and helped me get the best options; I could learn a lot and experience staying in a Wayuu community where I was also welcomed like at home 🫶🏼. With Gigi we did a very good job together and I thank her for helping me open doors here.

The Volunteer program is good. As it is a hostel and a recent project, in the process of launching, it still has a lot to improve. (It is important to make clear that at the current moment the host is in a limited health state that has affected the hostel's performance and its relationship with the volunteers.) The areas for improvement would be: to provide a proper induction, communicate well, have defined own workers (there are none, only collaborators), balance the workload fairly, have an appropriate safety protocol in place to address gender-based violence, and general order.

Responding to this review in a very objective way, for the first time many inconveniences arose, not to call them problems with this volunteering program specifically; I have always told my volunteers that depending on how they conduct themselves, that will be their volunteering experience; what is private to each person is undeniably up to them, but when you make that so evident within your workplace, volunteering by flouting rules that already show disrespect, this kind of situation arises.

Mafe, you are an extraordinary being, your values, your commitment to everything you're assigned, and you were there at the moment I needed you most, without me asking. It was amazing. I learned a lot from you, and there is something very beautiful—the light and energy you bring to this space. Nothing fell short; you were unbeatable. Thank you, thank you a thousand times for everything, and I hope this won't be the last time we share. Magical beings like you are not easy to find. I learned so much from you; thank you, thank you, thank you. Here you will always have a place, ALWAYS.

Thank you for your words, dear; you are love, you are an extraordinary person, with values, with so many beautiful things, a beautiful human being. Thank you, I learned a lot from all of you. Juan and you, speechless. It's little what I could write about you; this space isn't enough to detail it. I only say that wherever you go, what good fortune for the hosts. I hope to see you again soon...
