Zemra Travel

By volunteering with us, you’ll have the unique opportunity to experience the real Albania, far beyond what tourists usually see. You won’t just hear about the country’s history; you’ll live it!

✅ Immerse yourself in local culture: Experience authentic Albanian traditions, habits, and daily life firsthand.
✅ Live like a local: Discover hidden gems, local customs, and the best insider tips on what to see and do.
✅ Go beyond sightseeing: Connect with the history, people, and way of life in a meaningful way.
✅ Stay in the heart of it all: You'll be living in the centre of Tirana, the vibrant capital of Albania, where culture, history, and daily life come together.

To truly embrace this journey, it’s important to be independent, open-minded, and ready to explore Albania on your own. This experience invites you to step outside your comfort zone, discover the country’s beauty for yourself, and grow through meaningful cultural exchange.

This is more than just a volunteering opportunity. It’s a deep cultural immersion that will leave you with unforgettable experiences and a true connection to Albania!

Heyyyyaaa, I am Eduart!
I’m someone with high energy, lots of patience, and a deep passion for cultural exchange. Having travelled to many countries, I truly value meaningful connections and the joy of sharing experiences. But above all, I have an immense love for Albania, its history, traditions, and, of course, its people. That’s why I’m always excited to introduce others to our beautiful culture.

At the office, you’ll also meet Elkierd, my business partner, super kind and always attentive. And of course, Klaudia and Sibora! They’re super focused but really cool, you’ll love them.

Now, let’s talk about where you’ll stay! 🏠
The apartment is cosy and welcoming, and sometimes we also host Couchsurfers, so you’ll be part of a lively and international little family!
You’ll be sleeping in the living room, where there’s a comfy mattress and a sofa waiting for you.

One important note: we’re a very busy team, managing many things at once. For this reason, it’s essential that volunteers are independent, proactive, and open-minded. If you can think for yourself, take initiative, ask when needed, and explore on your own, you’ll thrive here. But if you need constant guidance or prefer everything structured for you, this might not be the right fit.

And just so you know, I’m kind, patient, and always happy to help, but that doesn’t mean I’m someone to be messed around with.
Kindness should never be confused with silliness. I take what I do seriously, I value respect, honesty, and responsibility, and I expect the same from those who come here.

This is more than just a volunteering experience, it’s a chance to connect, laugh, learn, and truly become part of our community.

We can’t wait to meet you!

Eduart is a kind and flexible host. He gave me great recommendations for places to explore around Albania and introduced me to Albanian culture. The accommodation is a well-maintained, full apartment that felt comfortable and welcoming throughout my stay. I volunteered as a web designer, and the work was straightforward. He was also flexible with the working hours, which made it easy to maintain a good balance between volunteering and exploring the country.

Positive experience with clear tasks as described. We worked about 3h/day editing content, which was ideal since it's our field. Comfortable room (usually shared, but as a couple we had it private), fast internet mainly in the living room, and access to kitchen and washing machine. In winter there are no tour discounts due to low tourism. Communication with the hosts was always clear and respectful. Best suited for content creators or video editors; those without digital skills may not benefit as much. Thanks to Francielly and Eduart! we would come back.

I came with my partner so we could stay in the same room, although it's usually shared. The accommodation is comfortable and nice. Since this is a tourism agency, I expected more opportunities to learn about the country or receive local recommendations, but due to the winter season, that was limited and we mostly explored on our own. I think It may be a better experience in summer. Overall, it was a good experience. You can work from the office or the apartment, the tasks are clear and easy, and Francielly and Eduart are super nice ❣️.
