The Experience

Our farm is on the hill at a small village. We want to make an eco farm and clean food from them. In addition, we want to connect with the other visitors from the world and make a communication environment for children who love nature! I’m an English teacher in a primary school so I want they can live in a nature with fresh air and know how to work on a farm as experience. WorldPackers is a part of our family and you can do and learn as us.

One of my best stays so far! The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming and I loved cooking and sharing meals together. The kids were super cute and I really enjoyed spending time with them. The place is surrounded by beautiful nature and feels very special. There wasn't too much work, so we had plenty of time to relax and enjoy the area. The location is outside Hanoi, but it's easy to reach by bus and the host was very helpful with finding the right one. I am very grateful for this experience and would definitely recommend it!☺️

My partner and I did 10 days at the farm helping out. We did the occasional physical task which was fun and always different each day. The main task however was interacting with the kids that went to the farm. This was so fun and rewarding! The kids were so sweet and so fun to be around!
The family was so warm and welcoming! The food was also amazing and plentiful every day! If anyone is thinking of volunteering here I would highly recommend it! Each day is different, and it is such a unique experience! We hope to be back again someday:)

It was an amazing place to stay in the beautiful nature. The hosts were very welcoming, caring, flexible and understanding. They don't speak English, but through Google Translate and signs it's easy to communicate. A longer conversation is more difficult. The work-rest balance is correct and respected. Apart of the work in the fields and cooking good food, we also taught children some English. It wasn't always clear when those were planned, so we've been surprised several times. The hosts took us into the village to share cultural moments. We had an overall good experience and we recommend it.

I would recommend checking the season before coming, especially if you're planning to come during the rainy season. When I was there, it rained a lot, so there wasn't much to do on the farm and I didn't get the full experience I was expecting. Apart from that, the food was really good and everyone was incredibly kind and caring. They really look after you and make you feel welcome. They're lovely people! ❤️ Just make sure to keep the rainy season in mind when planning your stay. 🌧️
