My partner and I stayed at the hostel for 3 weeks, the staff was welcoming and friendly, the hours were as discussed with a lot of free time to explore shimonoseki. Overall it was a great experience to be here, definitely recommend it if you're into sharing with people from around the world!

My partner and I had great time at the hostel, the staff was very friendly and made us felt welcome. The volunteer hours were very fair and flexible. I recommend to volunteer at this place if you are into meeting new people from all over the world.

It was great! If you want to experience sleeping Japanese-style and you like quiet places, then this is for you. Most of the time, I finished all my work in two hours. The trains run until 11:50 p.m., so it was very useful for traveling around.

The hostel has a fantastic, welcoming atmosphere created by the staff and guests. While I didn't meet Jack until my last day, I felt right at home from the start. The daily tasks (mostly morning cleaning) are very straightforward and light, giving you the entire afternoon free to explore. Plus, the location is just a quick walk from the station. Highly recommend!

The hostel is such a lively and chill place—everyone's super friendly, and you get to meet people from all over the world. If you like Japanese-style rooms, you should definitely check it out. Jack is a really nice guy, and sometimes we have little events at the hostel. You can also go on trips with the new friends you make here. I hope I get a chance to come back again someday!
