The Experience

【This place is located in Rushan, Weihai, Shandong, China, ~4hrs from Beijing by train, the train station called 乳山南站 where I can pick you up】 Stay in a cozy family apartment in a quiet neighborhood in east coast of China. Just 10 minutes walking to the beach. You'll help with cleaning and tidying-up. In return, you'll have free time to explore the beach. There‘re many events and activities hosting at the beach. Also, there're mountains nearby.

My stay with Johnny was really nice, the tasks I had to complete consisted of housekeeping, so they weren't too hard or heavy and I actually had a lot of time to visit the beach and rest. He also gave me recommendations about the places and helped me with online booking.

This peaceful place is perfect for unwinding, quiet, free from crowds, ideal for yoga or meditation. Yet the nearby beach offers running track, entertainment and night markets when you want energy. I enjoyed helping Johnny and experiencing authentic Chinese life. Would gladly stay longer.

This volunteering stay was wonderful! The place is cozy, quiet, and just a short walk to the beach with fun activities. Shops are nearby for convenience. Johnny is warm and friendly, showing me around interesting local spots. Perfect for volunteers seeking peace and ocean views. Highly recommend!
