I am so grateful to have had one of the best experiences of my two weeks at the farm. The family are the kindest, most humble, cheerful, and welcoming people. Thank you for letting me be part of your family. I spent my time with the dogs and cows, picking coffee, and in the garden. I ate the best Nepalese food and learned so much about the local culture and way of life. The work schedule aligned perfectly with my free time plans. Tasks started at 7:30 and we had toast with the best tea for breakfast before picking coffee for three hours. I also had the opportunity to go up the mount.

First of all, it was a pleasure to meet you, the farm. I had a wonderful time with your family, the volunteers, and your lovely dogs. It was so much fun working on the coffee farm, and I learned a lot—it was truly a great experience with new people and in a new place. I especially loved your garden. You are such a humble and truly amazing person. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality, and please share my thanks with every member of your family. I sincerely appreciate everything.

Upon arrival we were not oriented and were not shown where things were, for example the water. The bedroom was extremely dirty and there were bugs in the bed and all over the floor. The shower did not lock. We left early and after eating the food I was hospitalised with food poisoning. The farm work was fine and some of the family was welcoming but overall it gave off a weird vibe.

The farm's place is an amazing opportunity to learn a lot about organic farming and also about the Nepali people and culture. His family is very much open to include you into their household, and will happily discuss with you whatever you're interested in about Nepal and its culture. It was my second time staying here (3 weeks before through Workaway) and I really felt like part of the family. His experience of 12 years hosting over 1000 volunteers from around the world means you're in good hands in this place. It was my first volunteering, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
