We are a family of four with two dogs and two cats 🐶🐱. We are Tanzanian and German and currently live in Morocco. Our eldest daughter left for university this summer and is only occasionally with us. Our younger daughter is currently travelling. We live in a house directly on the beach, with beautiful ocean views and a calm atmosphere 🌊. From day one, Janne made me feel at home, not just as a volunteer but as part of the family. Thanks to her and the entire family, I never felt alone. The environment was warm, multicultural, and welcoming, and Janne was incredibly supportive of my personal and professional goals, always offering advice and encouragement. Mo, the main reason I was here, is a true social butterfly, always sparking interesting conversations and debates. The family even invited me to visit them in Tanzania&Germany, a gesture I deeply appreciated. I started as a volunteer but I feel like I gained a second family!

The experience at the home was the best I've had so far. From the moment I arrived, Janne and the whole family welcomed me like one of their own and were incredibly kind to me. I took care of two beautiful dogs that I already miss, and I also spent time with Mohamed—we had many interesting discussions. The villa where I stayed was very cosy, surrounded by the ocean, with a truly beautiful view. I want to thank Janne and the whole family for this wonderful experience and for making me feel comfortable, just like at home. I hope to see them again very soon 😍

An amazing experience. If you're looking to disconnect, reconnect with yourself, and be in a quiet place by the sea, this is the perfect spot. It's a place to slow down, enjoy nature, and fill yourself with love surrounded by animals.
