Program Details
The hostel is located in the center of Krakow, just one minute from the Main Square. Our goal is to offer a creative environment where young artists from different disciplines can connect, collaborate, and develop new ideas together, as well as to organize art exhibitions to decorate our premises and present young local artists to international guests.
We are looking for volunteers interested in supporting this project through daily chores such as cleaning, preparing beds, and helping at reception with check-ins. Volunteers may also assist in managing the many ideas that come from our artistic community, as well as in organizing art exhibitions, artists’ meetups, and creative events held at the hostel 🎭🖌️
What we offer:
• Accommodation in a shared room with other volunteers
• Free laundry
• Dinner with the team
What we request:
• We are looking for empathetic, proactive volunteers with a positive attitude 😊
Activities & Shift
• We have a total of five shifts. During your first few days, we will train you and encourage you to rotate through all of them so you can understand which shift suits you best and what you enjoy the most.
During the opening shift (10:00–13:00), you will spend about one hour at reception, helping guests store their luggage or rent towels, and then take care of cleaning.
During the bed shift (11:30–14:30), you will help make new beds, remove trash from the rooms, and assist at reception on days with few check-outs.
No more than once a week, we may ask you to cover Shift 2 (14:30–20:30). It is a longer shift that involves checking guests in and running the laundry. However, you only need to be available at the hostel and are otherwise free to do your own things.
During the closing shift (20:30–23:30), you will take care of reception tasks, prepare self check-in instructions for late arrivals, and do a bit of cleaning to refresh the hostel before the night.
• On a voluntary basis, you are welcome to help with our art exhibitions, the organization of our artists' meetups (usually held once a month), collecting ideas, and staying in touch with the community
