El voluntariado consiste en el cuidado de los animales que habitan en el santuario: proporcionarles alimentación, higiene de sus instalaciones, acompañamiento y asistencia a los más vulnerables, etc. Todo ello acompañado del personal cuidador del santuario. También, se realizan tareas de construcción y mantenimiento, acondicionamiento de nuevas instalaciones y creación de un huerto ecológico.

I jad an incredible time with amazing people. I got lucky because I was there with four other women, and we all got along very well, we had dinner nights where we all contributed, played games, watched movies. The work is from 8 am-1pm and after I would relax and enjoy the place I was in. We had to work again from 6 pm- 7 pm. And it was very chill. The work itself was easy, physical yes, but not too hard. I loved cuddling the animals and spending time with the others. The land is huge and you can explore a lot of it, everyone there is nice and respectful, def reccomend! @heyitsnandinii insta

Quiero agradecer enormemente a Lore, Ro y Mar por estas grandiosas 5 semanas que pasé en el voluntariado con ustedes. Son unas personas con un corazón inmenso y lleno de amor y me conmovió bastante ver todo el trabajo que ustedes hacen día con día, son unas mujeres muy poderosas. Me encantó conocer finalmente el refugio y me llevaré por siempre a todos los animalitos que forman parte de aquí. Muchas gracias por abrirme las puertas a este hermoso lugar lleno de esperanza y por ser pacientes y por enseñarme tanto. Les mando un fuerte abrazo, ya las extraño y espero vernos muy pronto ❤️

El refugio ha sido mi primera experiencia de Voluntariado fuera de mi país, y agradezco de manera inmensa, la amabilidad que han tenido de recibirme de brindarme su apoyo y acompañarme en la realización de mis labores. Dentro del día a día. Estuve durante un mes la experiencia para mí fue maravillosa 🥹💖✈️🇨🇴🇪🇸 haber podido conocer a los integrantes en un lugar tan seguro motiva muchísimo a querer continuar realizando ese tipo de voluntariados. Si quieres hacer parte de esta experiencia, te invito a que no te lo pierdas porque cada vez somos muchos más los que pensamos en los animales.

Mi experiencia en el refugio fue simplemente increíble y una de esas que se quedan contigo para siempre. Después de casi 15 años siendo vegana, poder conocer desde dentro un proyecto construido con tanto amor y compromiso hacia los animales fue muy especial. Me llevo una enorme admiración por Lore, Mar y Ro, por toda la dedicación y cariño que entregan cada día, y por Laura, quien ha dedicado tantos años de su vida a hacer posible este proyecto. Me hicieron sentir parte de una comunidad hermosa y me llevo mucho más de lo que pude dar, aprendizajes, recuerdos y personas increíbles.

Durante estos dias en el refugio me sentí muy bien acogida tanto por las anfitrionas como por las voluntarias que compartieron la estancia conmigo. Los horarios se respetaron y fue muy divertido hacer las tareas pudiendo conocer a todos los animales del lugar. El terreno es muy amplio y tiene unas vistas preciosas. Muy recomendable para aquellos que quieran vivir la experiencia, el trabajo que hacen allí es increíble!! 🫶🫶
