We have stayed here for one month. The family is really great, for me they are like my Peruvian parents ❤️ We were painting the wall because it was not a good time for teaching english but besides that you could learn a lot about sewing and traditional weaving which is super cool. The food was delicious and each day different. I've learned there also basics of Quechua. Also Yako is usually taking volunteers to the village where he was born at and there you will have really local experience which I loved a lot. Highly recommend this place. Also they were patient with my limited Spanish.

I spent a month at the home, it felt like home. Ciriaco and Victoria are one of the kindest people I've ever met - truly good, with big open hearts and great ideas. Victoria is also an amazing cook, meals were always delicious! We got the chance to see how real peruvian artisanal work looks like, I even learned how to embroider. Improved my spanish a lot too. Ciriaco took us to his home village which was wonderful experience - we were hiking and spent the night there. Piece of my heart was left with that family and I hope to come back one day 🩷

This experience with Worldpackers was wonderful, and I met lovely people whom I highly recommend. Victoria and Ciriaco welcomed me like a son, they told me with enthusiasm about their lives and encouraged me to explore their city, Ayacucho, and Ciriaco's hometown, Millpiu.

From the very first moment they treated me as part of the family. They have a beautiful social project where they embrace the community, offering space and meals for the children and the elderly. My work was very easy, but above all I helped with the shopping and with whatever they needed; the rest of the time was for myself and to get to know the beautiful city and the mountains where they live. We also went to visit the Andean villages at the top of the mountains where they come from; we slept in tents and it gave me the opportunity to truly get to know a culture that is still largely unknown to tourism. Excellent food and good communication <3

Thank you very much Victoria and ciriaco for making us feel at home! It was an honor to be able to see and experience Ayacucho from the inside. They are very generous people with a big heart; you can really see the dedication and the love they put into their work and in supporting their community. We wish them all the best and much success in their projects. Hopefully we can return again with more time and enjoy the warm place they managed to create 💜
