My experience here was wonderful. Rochus and Barbara were so kind to me and made me feel comfortable, welcome, and included right from the start. The place is surrounded by pure nature, the food is abundant and delicious, and the peaceful atmosphere is one of a kind. I got to experience Bavarian culture, which I really enjoyed. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. Without a doubt, a unique and cozy experience for me.

All of the tasks were easy to understand, and Chef Rochus and Tom helped me a lot to learn more about the system and their beautiful working environment.
And the free time there was something beautiful as well, especially once I understood how the transportation worked.

My experience was truly amazing. I stayed for two months and felt welcomed from the very first day. Rochus and Barbara made me feel like part of their wonderful family, and I'll always be grateful for their kindness 🙏❤️ The other volunteers made the experience even more special—we shared unforgettable moments together 🥹❤️ The food was delicious, the accommodation was comfortable, and I learned so much about Bavarian culture while gaining experience in the kitchen and service.

Barbara and Rochus were both welcoming and friendly. The accommodations was comfortable and the food was amazing. The staff were helpful and we meet other lovely travellers. Whilst the scenery is beautiful, it is quite isolated. Buses don't run on weekends and finish at 5pm so it can be hard to explore other areas or get to Munich. Though e-bikes can be used to go visit the lakes or go to the shops. The work is also repetitive and often tedious as such can be draining. If you are some one not afraid of hard work and wanting to have a slow experience, then this is good.
