Hello! We are looking volunteers to help us on the night shift in our hostel (Pal's Mini Hostel), located in the downtown of Budapest. The job is a night receptionist, responsible for keeping an eye on the reception, showing any possible late arrivals to their room, and dealing with any early checkouts. The work is very easy, and provides a lot of spare time to explore Budapest!Learn more

I stayed for over a month at Pal's and I loved it!
The shifts are excelent and flexible, the work js easy and everything feels super organized.
Even though I went in the cold months, Budapest is a beautiful city and kind of magical when it gets full of snow, and Hungary is super cheap for backpackers.
Don't hesitate to come here and have a wonderful time!
My time in Pals was really nice! Budapest is a beatiful city, and since the shifts are so easy-lifted, you have plenty of time for discovering. Although they don't serve meals, they do give you 20 euros after your week shifts ( which is a lot!) and let the opportunity for earning a bit more with extra shifts.
Other volunteers were friendly and we really got along, but i myself didn't manage to understand and befriend the working team at the hostel - propable was a me thing, but is good to say.
Overall, is a nice and relatively confortable. Good to stay long periods!
I had an amazing experience at Pal's Hostel & Apartments during 1 month! The tasks are easy and they have a flexible schedule. Besides that, Budapest is an incredible place to stay!
I'd like to thanks all volunteers and everyone from staff, especially Max, Levi and Eszter.
So grateful for the opportunity and for the new friends I made there. I truly recommend this experience. :)
This host receives a lot of worldpackers and has a high average rating.
This is not a regular hostel but a chain of apartments around St Stephen’s Square. We have an international staff helping us everyday and we really appreciate sharing experiences with everyone.About the host
