Hello! We are looking volunteers to help us on the night shift in our hostel (Pal's Mini Hostel), located in the downtown of Budapest. The job is a night receptionist, responsible for keeping an eye on the reception, showing any possible late arrivals to their room, and dealing with any early checkouts. The work is very easy, and provides a lot of spare time to explore Budapest!

Pal's Mini Hostel is the little sister of Pal's Hostel and Apartments only a 10 minute walk away, and both ran by the same people :) Pal's Hostel is in the very heart of Budapest, right beside St. Stephen's Basilica - this is where you will be accommodated too! :)
In return for 20 hours work a week, we will provide you with a bed in our spacious volunteers apartment, 20 Euro food money per week, and free laundry! There is free tea and coffee in our main reception too! You will also have access to a shared kitchen that you may use. The volunteer apartment is shared between our night shift volunteers, and our other volunteers for our main hostel - it is not a cramped place though, there's plenty of space and has a very chilled out and friendly vibe! Every gets along well and we are sure you will make some great friends and memories staying there!
We look forward to hear from you!! :)
Each night shift is 8 hours long, from midnight till 8 am. We have a total of 3 volunteers for the night shifts, sharing the night shifts throughout the week.
You will work 2 shifts a week (16 hours), and every 3rd week you will work 3 shifts (24 hours) - each week the 3 volunteers will take turns doing the 3rd shift :) This is actually a bonus as it works out to 56 hours over the 3 weeks, 4 hours less work than it should be at 60 hours, but that's okay :p
The schedule is flexible and volunteers decide between themselves who works which shifts on which days.
