The time with Mags, Juan, and the kids was truly fantastic. You get a really beautiful place to stay, the Dinner is freshly cooked every day and tastes amazing. The work was a lot of fun and very flexible. The property is beautiful. The family is incredibly warm and welcoming, and you feel completely at home. Mags and Juan also took us along whenever we wanted to go to the beach or into town. I can honestly recommend this to everyone. It was an amazing time. Thank you very much.

Me and my boyfriend had an amazing time at Mags and Juan's stay. They are lovely people with lovely kids and their old lady Trixie the dog is very cute. The working hours were more than fair and varied and they are very flexible with when you want your days off and when you want to work your hours. The place they live is the farm but very very beautiful and peaceful. We could borrow their bikes and drove to the beach, which is pretty and just a 30minute drive away. They really do everything possible for you to have a great time! And we did😊 So I can't recommend them enough.

Gorgeous 11 nights in Waimarama. Really kind and interesting family and so many cute animas. I pulled branches and put them in a pile and felt like a cool barbarian cave woman !! I also swam in the freezing stream and read and relaxed. Good balance of social time and alone time. Kids are adorable as well. Big fig tree you can pick and eat figs from. Highly recommend !

It was an incredible first volunteering experience with a spectacular welcome from day one. They picked me up in Napier and made me feel part of their loving, kind family right away. The work was light gardening, a few hours a day, with all materials provided. The food was delicious, and they even lent me a bike to visit beautiful Waimarama Beach. I had a peaceful, wonderful time and would absolutely recommend it.
