My experience in the house was very beautiful and I am very grateful to Lurdes for the opportunity. The place is beautiful in the forest with a river and nearby waterfalls. The work is very simple and in the house there is much peace and tranquility.
Without a car it is difficult to move around but as soon as Lurdes could, she took us to see places and very beautiful beaches.
The little dog Chiaro is a sweetheart and pure joy and happiness.
I was lucky that the other volunteer was a very respectful, good and empathetic girl and the work was done with wonderful synchrony and collaboration.

First of all, a thousand thanks to Lourdes for treating us like family and helping us with everything. Her food is amazing, I will never forget the risotto. As it's a hostel with only 5 rooms, the work isn't heavy: after cleaning, we take care of the garden. The natural setting is wonderful, although without a car mobility is difficult (it's a 1-2 hour walk to the bus), but Lourdes always helps us to go to the city or shop. If you're looking to disconnect, go hiking and enjoy nature, I recommend it 100%. And besides, she has a super cute dog that I'm sure you'll love 🥹🤍

Lourdes is a very special person. A hardworking woman, whose life project is, among other things, the Posada del Alba. Staying with her is very pleasant, the food is very tasty, and the surroundings are incredible. In addition, Lourdes never misses the opportunity to take you with her to the places she goes.
