The Experience

Borgolecaselle is a holidayhome, situated at the edge of Cilento Nationalpark in Southern Italy. The surrounding nature is wild and stunning: the coastline, canyons and rocky mountains invite hikers. Your help is needed to take care of 3 dogs and cats, the garden and houses, welcoming and helping guests, taking care of the laundry. You need a driving license, a car is provided. You should work autonomously.

My stay in the guest house was a wonderful experience. Even though we had rainy days during the first week, Bettina completely adapted the tasks for us. By the second week, we were able to work outdoors in beautiful weather and spend time with her. The food she prepared was delicious, and her pets are lovely. I definitely learned a lot from this trip!

Dear Valentina,
thankyou for having been part of the borgolecaselle team for 2 weeks in early spring. We had a good time together doing little jobs in the house and in the garden, learning about each others culture and habits.
All the best for your future!

We have an amazing stay at Borgo Le Caselle and we learned a lot from Bettina! We highly recommend this place if you want to get disconnected and immersed in nature. The house has views to the mountains and it's very cozy, specially with Lilli, Lulú, Frida and Tiger (pets).

Despite we had bad weather on our first week, Bettina gave us easy indoor tasks and the daily hours were absoultely respected. After that, we had mainly relaxing gardening tasks.

We also learned about sustainable living and from italian and german culture. We improved our english but also our italian and german!

I really enjoyed my time at Borgo Le Caselle! It's a beautiful place in quite a remote area so perfect if you're looking for some peace and quiet and want to immerse yourself in nature. Working with Bettina was a lot of fun, I learned a lot about maintenance, garden work and what life is like in rural Southern Italy. I was able to choose my working hours quite flexibly such that I could go for a hike when the weather was good (which I would definitely recommend!) She and her dogs made me feel like I was part of the family and I hope to be back someday :)

We had a nourishing experience with Bettina, getting to truly know about so many things, from local community, ways of life, to history facts about the surrounding. We loved the authenticity of the journey because we also got to learn a lot on ourselves too witch is amazing. The host has a lot of knowledge and truly wish to share with others. We appreciate sharing the food all together everyday also!
