I cannot recommend this experience enough, Swadhy and his family are the sweetest people ever, and not only provided full accommodations, but also made the hotel feel like home away from home. They are completely fluent in English, which made communication SO much easier, and also very relaxed. Even though this position says 25 hours of work, it is much less, and j was given ample time to enjoy my stay, explore the city, and experience El Salvador from the pueblos ❤️

If I had the chance to do it again, I would do it 100%. Swadhy and his wonderful little family were so welcoming; I felt right at home. It's an excellent way to discover the culture and lifestyle of the people of El Salvador and their typical dishes. It's also a beautiful country to visit, and for my first Worldpacker experience, it was perfect!

Swadhy and his family were welcoming me with open arms as soon as I arrived. The room I stayed was big enough for two full sized beds and I shared with another roommate who was also amazing. There are many places in walking distance such as gym, supermarket, local market, and I really enjoyed the pupusas, tamales, plantains and jocotes there.(since I'm vegan) My roommate Sasha took me to the capital, San Salvador by bus and it was a wonderful experience. I wish I could help Swadhy and his family with something and I feel bad. I definitely want to go back to El Salvador in the future:)
