The home was a great experience. The staff are lovely and welcoming, especially Akay, who is very friendly and supportive. The work is simple and flexible, mainly focused on communicating with learners and helping them practice English. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable place to volunteer!

My experience at the English Leaders was truly amazing! ✨ From the very beginning, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The environment was friendly, positive, and perfect for improving my English while meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures. Everyone was kind, supportive, and willing to help whenever I needed it, especially Akay! He is a such special person! ❤️ I'm very grateful for the people I met, the experiences I had.

We literally worked less then 3h almost everyday. I also had 3 days off every week which is great because Hanoi is only 30min by card or bike so you have a lot of time to explore.
We did tik tok Livestreams mostly mid day and all the actual teaching lessons were at night (8 or 9pm). Most teaching was online through zoom only sometimes we had in person class. The Vietnamese team is super nice and will help you with everything. The facilities are okay but could be cleaned more often... I was there for 2 weeks and for me that was a good amount of time for this project ♡♡♡ I met great new friends

I spent 2.5 weeks with the home as a volunteer and had a great time! The team is very welcoming especially David and Cindy who lead the operation. Generally I was responsible for 30-60 minutes of content creation during the day and about 2 hours of teaching, mostly online, in the evenings. It was fun to speak with the students and I enjoyed getting the chance to meet a lot of people I otherwise never would have gotten the chance to. The host team is friendly and flexible with schedules.

Volunteering here was the easiest thing i've ever done! everyone is so friendly and keen to learn, you only have to talk with locals and help them with pronounounciation and sometimes with grammar too. and it's only for an hour or two a day!
