Glynn and Julie were perfect hosts: they respected everything we had agreed on and did it with genuine care and love. They treated us like affectionate and thoughtful parents would. Time flies when you're with them, surrounded by nature, taking care of the animals and working on the farm, with plenty of chats, long and enjoyable breaks, and lots of laughter along the way.

An unforgettable stay with Glynn and Julie! This experience completely changed our outlook: we made huge progress in English thanks to their patience, formed a deep, heartbreaking bond with their adorable dogs, and discovered an inspiring lifestyle. Incredible, caring hosts who checked on our well-being and gave us extra days off to visit Lisbon. Comfortable housing, generous balanced meals, and a great work pace with clear communication. I stayed a month at Julie and Glynn's farm and it was an amazing experience! We worked only in the mornings with some breaks. I enjoyed my stay even more thanks to the dogs, they are all so sweet! They each have their own personality, and they are all special in their own way. We spent a lot of time playing with them and brushing them. Julie and Glynn were always nice and had a lot of stories to share, they took us to the beach, the lake, and shopping if we needed something. They made me feel very comfortable during my stay. Thank you so much for this unique experience!

I spent one month with Glynn and Julie, and had a really awesome time helping at their farm! The work hours are fair and with many breaks, and I appreciated the variety of tasks. I had fun feeding and caring for all the animals :) The surrounding area is really peaceful and pretty, loved the nature! On the weekends, Glynn and Julie took the time to show us around the area a bit, it was really nice! And of course I'm going to miss the dogs! Loved going on walks with them, and it was so cute to meet Lua and see her fit in with the rest of the group! Thank you for the time at your Farm :)

Both us and our doggies appreciated your patient grooming they all look so much better for your attention.

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I couldn't have wished for a better host. Julie and Glynn are so lovely, and it was amazing getting to know them. They always honor and respect the agreed work hours, and they work alongside the volunteers every day as well, which makes the experience feel very collaborative. I had a lot of fun simply talking with them and hearing all of their stories. I would recommend this opportunity to anyone and would happily return one day myself. All the dogs make it even better :)

Cara is a very nice person, she arrived on time, she kept us informed of her journey.
She was energetic, enthusiastic and a good team player who just got stuck in with each task given. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Our dogs loved her as much as she loved them.
She came with the attitude of helping as much as she could and she did it willingly and with enthusiasm.
We miss her already and extend an invite for her to come again. Thank you Cara. It was a pleasure to meet you.
