Overall my stay at the eco village was good, it's very isolated on top of a very high mountain so when you're there you're there. I think a few times a week people go into Luino, a small town by a very beautiful river. There wasn't many people at the commune when I was there but in season it seems like there's a lot going on. They are good at communication and respectful but there are a few rules, no coffee etc which seem a bit far. The house is very rustic but mostly clean, the hours working are quite long but the people there were wonderful. Feel free to message me if you have any questions :)

The structure and the project have potential, but a lot depends on the people present with you during the stay. Tibo is a very sensitive person and open to dialogue; I recommend talking in depth with him before applying to volunteer at Alpe Pianello.
Unfortunately during my brief stay there were only residents and other male volunteers.
I recommend going during the summer season when there should be more volunteers and interesting events.
The view of Lake Maggiore and the forest around the former monastery is very characteristic.
