Our experience with Abi and her family was amazing. They are warm, fun people who made us feel part of the family. The work was flexible and easy to handle, and Abi took us on lovely outings. Our pod was very comfortable, and she let me use her kitchen freely, providing everything for breakfast and lunch, while we shared dinner together. The children are very smart, and I learned so much from them about British wildlife and other curiosities. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to practise English and enjoy genuine family life. The only bad part was saying goodbye.

Ellie and Sergio came to us in July 2026, we found them extremely friendly and helpful. They helped with a range of tasks, hedgerow clearance, building a chicken house, cooking and cleaning. We loved getting to know them they were an absolute joy to have around, talking at family dinner, they were extremely courteous and keen to help.

It was an incredible experience, I truly loved spending my volunteering time with this beautiful family who welcomed me as one of their own ❤️

The tasks are super manageable and they’re very flexible, but for me the most important thing is that they have such a beautiful energy and attitude. ✨

It was so great. The kids were so much fun it felt like having new siblings. I loved them so much. Abi was so great with flexibility and helping me get around to the different things that we were doing. They included me in all activities they did and it truly was so much fun. They are building a new house next door and it was so amazing seeing their hard work. “The Pod” as we called it was so cozy and it was nice having your own space while traveling. The countryside was so beautiful even when it was raining.

It was the best volunteer experience I have had so far, Abi is amazing and super helpful, Rich is welcoming and calm, and he taught me to drive the tractor, and we worked very well together, the children are adorable and fun. It really was an amazing experience. The POD meets the need very well and doesn't let you get cold, there are many landscapes to observe.
Thank you Rich, Abi, Tia and Ash for the amazing experience.
