Working and living in Cancocollona was a wonderful experience. Not only because of the great energy in the hostel, but also because Montse took us to know a lot of places and really cared about us knowing the culture and the places nearby. The hostel has a special family enviroment that was difficult to say goodbye. Thank you Can cocollona for everything ❤

It was great time in Can Cocollona. If you are searching for small hostel, where you will feel like a member of family, go for it. Work was not hard, but you need to know, how to manage it. Girona is a small town, thats mean, don't expect the party everyday. Owner and stuff was fair.

My experience at Can Cocollona was incredible! From the first day, I was welcomed by the entire team as part of the family. The environment is very welcoming and feels like family.
Montse, the owner of the hostel, has a huge heart and is always willing to listen, help, and provide good experiences for the volunteers. She took us to local events, helping us get to know the region's culture better, in addition to making food available for everyone. It was an incredible opportunity to live a local experience, meet people from different parts of the world and create special connections. I am very grateful ❤️🥹

Can Cocollona is much more than a hostel, it's a place where you feel at home from the very first moment. The fixed team is extremely empathetic, welcoming and really cares about every person. As a volunteer, you don't feel just part of the work, but part of the house's dynamics, living a genuine exchange with Girona and its culture. And Montse, the owner of the hostel, is an incredible, entrepreneurial and very humane woman who makes a point of showing us Catalonia in a more native way. We share moments and have a lot of fun. It was an experience I will carry with me for life.
