The Experience
Bienvenid@s somos Caprinatura, una granja familiar ecológica que tiene como actividad principal el cuidado de la huerta, siembra, cosecha, trasplante, poda, preparación de suelos, riego, abono, acolchado de suelo, desmalezado, así como la mantención, limpieza y orden de las zonas de trabajo. Además tenemos perros, gallinas y gatos, animales que también requieren de nuestra atención y cuidado. Nuestra granja se ubica en Donadío, a 10 km de Úbeda.

The time at the farm was a very new experience for me & I learned a lot. Rosa y Juan son unos anfitriones muy amables y disfrutaba de estar viviendo con ellos y los otros voluntarios. My job consisted mostly of being around the goats, milking, feeding & fixing their living space in the barn. Aside from that there were other garden duties as well as the occasional feeding the chickens and dogs that are around. The experience is something that I would recommend, but just be prepared to WORK! The work day is average, and you have free time, but there's plenty of things to do.

It was an incredible experience! Juan and Rosa are amazing people that really believes in sustainability and they work hard doing their part. The work was easy and it was really pleasant to do. Everyday we would go to the farm and take care of the animals and the garden. Everything is done in a sustainable and ecological way, so you will learn a lot about it. It really changed my view about sustainability and what we need to do for our planet. The meals were done with everybody together, so you will definitely feel part of a big family. And Rosa's food is so delicious and healthy.

The experience that i have at the farm was amazing.First time i had the chance to take care animals and learn about bioconstruction.Though my spanish are not good and the people there they dont speak much english there was no problem at all and i learnt things with the help of Juan and my colleagues.The food it was way more than enough from the hands of Rosa.They treat me like family.Muchas muchas gracias Juan Rosa the whole family and my colleagues.Adios!!!
